Terms of Use
Pyramail — Google Sheets Add-on
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between Pyramail (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the user (“you” or “your”), governing your access to and use of the Pyramail Google Sheets Add-on, the https://getpyramail.comwebsite, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By installing, accessing, or using Pyramail, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing Pyramail from the Google Workspace Marketplace, or by accessing or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pyramail regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
2. Description of Service
Pyramail is a Google Sheets Add-on that enables you to send personalized email campaigns directly from your Gmail account. The Service includes, but is not limited to, the following features:
- Mass and personalized email sending via the Gmail API, using data from your Google Sheets spreadsheet.
- Email tracking (open tracking, click tracking, and unsubscribe management), opt-in and configured per campaign.
- Automated follow-up sequences triggered by recipient engagement, such as opens, clicks, or replies.
- AI-powered email assistance to create, refine, or convert email content into responsive HTML templates.
- Email scheduling to send campaigns at a future date and time.
- Bounce detection to identify and flag undeliverable email addresses.
- Gmail draft integration to use existing drafts as campaign templates.
- History logging to maintain a record of sent emails within your spreadsheet.
Pyramail reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice, provided that we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
3. Account & Registration
To use Pyramail, you must have a valid Google account. When you install the Add-on, your Google account email address is used to identify you and manage your subscription tier. You do not create a separate Pyramail account — your Google identity serves as your account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Ensuring that the information associated with your Google account is accurate and up to date.
You must notify us immediately at mustafa.hesham591@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach affecting the Service.
4. Plans & Billing
Pyramail offers multiple subscription tiers. Current plans and pricing are available at https://getpyramail.com/pricing. Pricing is listed in US Dollars (USD).
4.1 Free Plan
The Free plan provides access to core features with usage limitations, including a daily email sending cap and limited AI request quota. These limitations are described on our pricing page. You may use the Free plan indefinitely or upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
4.2 Paid Plans
Paid plans (Pro and Premium) unlock higher usage limits and additional features such as AI email assistance, scheduled sending, and advanced tracking. Paid plans are billed either monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal.
4.3 Team Plans
Team plans are billed annually on a per-member basis. Each team member receives an individual subscription with the same feature set as the Premium plan. Team pricing and details are available on our pricing page.
4.4 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. Pyramail does not directly store your payment card information.
4.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. If we change the pricing for your current plan, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
5.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal or by contacting us at mustafa.hesham591@gmail.com. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles.
5.2 Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Service within this period, you may request a full refund by contacting us at mustafa.hesham591@gmail.com. Please include your name and account email in your request.
After the 14-day period, refunds are issued at our sole discretion. If the Service has been used extensively (e.g., email campaigns have been successfully sent), we reserve the right to evaluate the refund request on a case-by-case basis.
5.3 Downgrade
If you cancel a paid plan or it expires, your account will revert to the Free plan. You will retain access to your existing data, but features exclusive to paid plans will no longer be available.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:
- Send unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or emails that violate the Google Acceptable Use Policy or any applicable anti-spam legislation (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or CASL).
- Send emails containing malicious content, including viruses, malware, phishing links, or any material designed to damage, intercept, or misappropriate data.
- Send emails that are harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or that promote illegal activity.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use the Service to collect, harvest, or scrape email addresses or personal information without proper consent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service's infrastructure.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, security measures, or access controls.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service to third parties without our prior written consent.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, at our sole discretion, without prior notice or refund.
7. User Content & Data
You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or transmit through the Service, including email content, subject lines, recipient lists, spreadsheet data, and attachments (collectively, “User Content”).
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all User Content.
- Ensuring that your email campaigns comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws.
- Obtaining any necessary consent from your email recipients before adding them to your mailing lists.
- Maintaining your own backups of User Content. Pyramail is not responsible for any loss or destruction of User Content.
As described in our Privacy Policy, when you send email campaigns through Pyramail, you act as the data controller for your recipients' personal data, and Pyramail acts only as a data processor.
We do not monitor, review, or edit your User Content. However, we reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or applicable law.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including its software, design, user interface, logos, trademarks, and documentation — are and remain the exclusive property of Pyramail. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Pyramail grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. This license does not include the right to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use Pyramail's name, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission.
9. Third-Party Services
Pyramail integrates with and relies on the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
- Google Workspace (Gmail API, Google Sheets API, Google Drive): Used for sending emails, reading and writing spreadsheet data, and accessing file attachments. Your use of these services is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
- Google Cloud Platform (Firebase): Used for account management, subscription tier storage, and temporary email tracking event processing.
- Google Gemini API: Used for AI-powered email composition and refinement features.
- Groq API: Used as a fallback AI provider when the primary AI service is temporarily unavailable.
- Lemon Squeezy: Used for processing subscription payments and managing billing.
Pyramail is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. Any disruption or downtime caused by a third-party service does not constitute a breach of these Terms by Pyramail.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, Pyramail does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- All emails sent through the Service will be successfully delivered to their intended recipients. Email deliverability depends on factors outside our control, including recipient mail server policies, spam filters, and Gmail's own sending quotas.
- AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your specific use case.
- Tracking data (opens, clicks, bounces) will be 100% accurate. Email tracking is inherently imprecise due to factors such as image blocking by email clients and link prefetching.
You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for the emails you send and their compliance with applicable laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PYRAMAIL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF PYRAMAIL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PYRAMAIL'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PYRAMAIL FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pyramail from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Service or any activity under your account.
- Your User Content, including any emails sent through the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms, any applicable law, or any third-party rights.
- Any claim by a third party (including your email recipients) relating to emails sent by you through the Service.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Pyramail Add-on from Google Sheets. If you have a paid subscription, cancellation of your subscription is handled separately as described in Section 5. You may also revoke Pyramail's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account Permissions page.
13.2 By Pyramail
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms, including the Acceptable Use policy.
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk or may cause harm to other users or third parties.
- We are required to do so by law or by a valid legal process.
- Your Free plan account has been inactive for an extended period (12 months or more).
In the event of termination for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any data stored locally within Google Apps Script properties (such as saved templates and settings) can be removed by uninstalling the Add-on. Account data stored on our servers will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance (for example, via an in-app notification or email).
Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt.
